so ive just published my About Me content. There are still some revisions that I need to make but when I tried I couldn't figure out how to transfer those revisions to the pub
Don't worry about the length of your content. Over time, you may think of things you want to add to it. For now, move on to creating more content.
Sitemanager >login >posts >find about me post >edit, do the revisions and then click update. What's you site i'll have a look
Hi. Thank you! Tony right? This is my first so I feel pretty unsure of myself at this point and of my content. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! It's Womensrunningshoes... Thanks!
Hi Janna, just checked out your about me page!
The content is good, a little back story of you, a good explanation of why you want to help people and the goals of your website. Exactly what you're aiming for!
One or two little things that in my opinion would help a little...
1. Your headings-
"YOUR STORY" should be "my story".
"WHY YOU WANT TO HELP PEOPLE" should be "why I want to help people"
"THE GOAL OF YOUR SITE" should be "the goal of Womensrunningshoes@siterubix.com"
2. Everyone loves some photos... A photo of yourself, maybe a runner!? just something to help paint the picture.
3. Maybe spread the text out a bit. Even just a couple of spaces above each of your headings to break it up a little. I think it will help with the readability.
As I've said earlier, the content is good. Like Gary said, you shouldn't worry too much about the length of content. You'll be strolling down to the shop one day and an Idea will pop into your head about what to add into your about me page. Go home and add it in. It happens to me all the time.
For now, I'd concentrate on thinking of articles to write, finding good, low competition keywords and well, producing more quality content. You can always go back to old posts and give them a little revamp. Apparently google likes this and may reward you with better rankings for keeping your posts up to date.
Well Janna, I hope some of that helped. I'm sure others will be able to help and cast their eye over your website... Just ask!!

Adding content to published material and saving?

Hello Janna,
When you log into your SiteManager, Log into your website, go to All Posts, Click on "Edit" on your About Me Page. That should take you to your Authors page, you can edit your About Me page from there. Notice that you do not have to publish right away. Word{Press will automatically save your progress as you go along. but its good practice to save your work often. Edit.
Hope this helps
Linda
