What strategies do you recommend once Amazon cancels you? When to reapply?
I chose Amazon for my affiliate sales. Those sales have not materialized.
I have several blog posts with links to Amazon. What advise and direction do you have for me?

they would normally expect a sale with in six months, even if you do not achieve that you can always re-apply there are many other good affiliate programs out there to, do not worry just keep adding to your website
there are places such as affiliate window, some retailers have their own affiliate.. you can always check what products are you promoting
if you are not getting the traffic through your site then concentrate on getting a list of people interested in your niche together and giving information - still link through to sell some bits or find alternative affiliate programs who don't cut you off
but concentrate on the marketing of your material to get more visitors before applying again

It can take a while before you get your first purchase. Sometimes there can be at least 600 clicks or more on an item, before someone purcahses something. So in all likelihod, the more traffic you get, the sale just might happen quicker.
You can actually reapply right away or wait if you want to if you feel you want more traffic first. Once you reapply you'll have a new affiliate link. If you have family and friends who shop on Amazon, you can encourage them to shop via your site or link, if you're comfortable with that idea. It does not matter what they buy.
Jimbo mentioned some time ago that you can reapply.
If that doesn't work..
Try walmart through linkshare or
Yet wayfair through shareasale
I'm no expert but that's my suggestion of that's any good to you..
I have all 3 on my site, take a look at the website in my profile if you want. I'm using that site to learn the ropes so have no issue sharing it...
I had traffic but now it has fallen off. Is there a benchmark for traffic needed before I re-apply?
