We write blogs so good grammar will make writing easier and impress readers. My grammar has improved since I have been writing blogs simply because I care and always check grammar when I'm unsure.

I have done these tests before. And today I did it and aced it. Then I redid it and deliberately put in wrong words. I still aced it!!!!! So please don't rely on this test for correct grammar!!!!!!! Vel

This must have been too easy. I aced it and I do have problems with a couple of those words namely affect/effect but I got it right.

I know that a preposition is a bad thing to end a sentence with. :=)

Just finished the quiz -- aced it. Although, I have been known to sometimes split an infinitive. :=)
I actually used those jokes about prepositions and infinitives when I was applying for a newspaper job back in the early 1990's. The editor had a good sense of humor and hired me as darkroom assistant/proofreader.
