Pondering Life's Twists and Turns
Life has been a bit weird lately. I've been a follower of Justin Scarred's for over a year and occasionally Adam The Woo as well. Recently Adam decided to stop filming and posting vlogs every day simply due to the need to not only regain his life, but also to regroup, re-energize and to try new things. A touch of just plain exhaustion also came into play, I think. Justin has been having a touch of health issues that have caught him by surprise. Nothing extremely serious, but enough that it caught his attention.
Personally, I do not believe in coincidences. I've seen enough over the years to understand that the Universe will try to get your attention in many ways, but if you are particularly stubborn, and just ignore what is going on, the monumental knock you off your feet that comes can be particularly unwelcome.
Let's just say I've been there a few times too many and have finally learned my lesson.
In my last post I talked about the necessity of paying attention to what we want and need and, more importantly, what we don't want or need. I love new adventures - they can be so compelling and encompassing that we forget about the day to day stuff and dive head first just to find out what is around the next bend in the road.
Both Justin and Adam are adventurous spirits who love to see what the road can offer and are eager to share what they find out.
For all of us, I suggest we take a page out of their books and step back to be sure we are not overdoing things, that we are taking the time to smell the roses and see the sunset and be absolutely certain that we are doing what we want to do, not what we think others want us to do. Are we developing our skills and our talents learning about our chosen niches in ways that encourage us, feed and motivate us? Are we creating the kinds of websites that people want to come back to or are we just out there trying to make a buck?
I believe the answer to that last question will provide insight into whether or not we are truly successful at our endeavors, not to mention our lives.

Thank you for sharing your thoughtful insights Janet, we can only live at high intensity for short bursts and it is always good to understand our living rhythms.
Good advice to stand back take a breath and contemplate what we are doing it can be one of the best things that we can do. especially when we are looking for the purpose of what we are doing and those times when we are trying to understand and find our voices. Excellent post.
