So,
I bought a brand new domain name today in anticipation for my future business ventures.
I had been wanting to diversify my business portfolio a little bit. I still will after my long break. But I thought it’s best to buy the domain name and let it marinate.
After 3 days of searching I finally landed on the acceptable name. Phew, all the names I wanted were taken! Unbelievable!
But through trials and failure I must say I have learned a few more lessons about searching for domain names.

The most important lesson is to be patient and take all the time to come up with your most desirable name. It really helps to take your time. I almost bought a not-so-good domain 🥺.

So, if you know you wanna build more assets in future, buy the names now and keep them. The advantage is that, as long as you keep it registered, it will gradually gain trust in search engines.
By the time you’re ready to build your website, your domain will be almost if not 100% trusted.
