Hey good folks in WA land!

Hey James,

It's great to hear that your website is receiving positive feedback from your students!

Sharing your site on Facebook is a fantastic way to expand your reach and gather more insights.

You can definitely post your website address in a "What's on your mind?" post.

This is a common practice and a great way to drive traffic from your personal network to your site.

Here are a few tips:

1.) Instead of just posting the link, share a story or some interesting findings that came out of your experience showing the site to your students.

This personal touch can make your post more engaging and relatable.

2.) Make it clear that you’re looking for feedback.

You could phrase your post like, “I’ve been sharing this with my students and would love to know what you think too! All feedback is welcome.”

3.) If possible, include an image from your site or related to your content. Posts with images tend to get more engagement on Facebook.

4.) After people comment, make sure to engage with them.

Answer their questions and thank them for their input.

This not only helps build relationships but also encourages others to interact with your post.

And... please ensure that your post adheres to Facebook’s guidelines regarding promotional content.

Since you’re aiming for feedback and not directly selling something, you should be in the clear.

I hope this helps, and your website continues to resonate with a wider audience!

I have to give big Kudos out to DianeScorpio for the advice she gave me concerning my website schooltriumph.com . I have incorporated a lot of her advice - of which putting in

If you own a premium domain, you can.

Websites top menu > Site manager > Site Email

Diane has you covered on this and try not to skip around in training. I recommend following it step by step.

Kevin and Son

Hey folks !

Having asked for some help I have had a GREAT set of advice from Diane. Apparently my original choice of website is not really good for what I am trying to d

A theme is just a lens that your site is viewed through, so changing themes doesn't affect your content, just how it is viewed.

Hey James,

Given that you've already received the BEST advice from Frank (aka FrankB-1), I am only suggesting that you read over Rob's advice when deciding on a new theme to use.

You may find an advantage to reading over what Rob shared last year: Hope you find this helpful.

Hey James! I’m in the middle of changing my website as well.

Put in a site support ticket for the site you want to make changes… and ask for test site. They will make a site rubix site that you can make changes to. Then let them know when your done and they’ll switch it over to you original site name.

👍

Take a back up of your site before you start to change theme, so if it all goes pair shaped.
I would recommend Kadence theme it loads fast and is easily customizable to anything

Although i simply find it easier to make a backup, Frank is correct about a staging site. Whatever is easier for you

Hi James

Going from one extreme to another could very well be problematic.

Have site support create you a staging site, which will be a clone of what you have now.

Make all your changes on the cloned site, which will not affect your original “online” site in any way.

If and when you are happy with the results Site Support can transfer the staging site to your original online site.

Frank 🎸

That's a superb response here, Frank :) I would execute the same.

Thanks, Abie! 😎

Have a great day,
Frank 🎸

You are welcome, Frank :)

This is an example of what I struggle with. One of my sites is - apparently - ready to receive ads! So I click on the Adsense link and get this message

To get your site

You have FANTASTIC responses here; I HOPE you were able to figure it out.
