Wealthy Affiliate Has a Great Community but…
Don’t Wait for Permission from Other Members
What works for another member may not work for you. Your Wealthy Affiliate family is not here to give you permission to do anything. We are here to give and get ideas to help each other in order to grow our own original online business goals.
Don’t Let Another Member Steal Your Thunder
You know their profile names and you recognize their profile pics so just stop reading their comments. Let the more experienced “Ambassador” members lead them in the right direction. Don’t entertain toxic conversations within the platform.
Don’t Over-Promise Other Members
Resist the temptation to make other members think you know more than you do. It won’t work in the long run. Members will see through it eventually. It’s better to say you don’t know and then help them find the answer. Find a training link for them and they will respect that. You will probably learn something you’ll need in the future… every time you say you don’t know and help find the answer for someone else!
Don’t Dwell on Problems
There will always be problems and yes, they must be solved. But don’t make the mistake of not being able to move on without a solution. Put it on hold and run it by the community for a few days while you do something else on your website. Some people have given up because of this, when all they really needed to do is move on and come back later
Don’t Assume Perfection
Heaven is perfect. Earthlink’s must settle for Good enough. Your website will get good enough to generate money. Then it will improve, and you will earn even more money. You can get rich, for sure. But your website will ALWAYS need improvements and upgrades; embrace imperfection… the fact that you see them and understand that they exist means you’re growing.

I hope I don’t fit in to one of these categories ;-)
I have to disagree though, about only letting Ambassador users help you out. Firstly, there’s only 25 of them, out of 1.98 million members. Also, I have noticed there are quite a few Ambassador members who post on nearly every single question/blog, that don’t actually bring anything to the table. The most common type of response is “I see you have an answer already”, which then gets liked, to only boost their rank here at WA. Quite a few Ambassadors are also not technical and also miss the other members question completely.
When I refer to Ambassador, I’m using the term lightly, as there certainly are a good few around :-) Also, you can include the Top 200 within this as well :-)
I don’t mean for this to cause an argument, I just mean, use your own judgement about the answers you receive, and don’t always assume that an Ambassador will know the answer over someone with a much lower rank.
Just my two cents ;-)
I'll be the first one to completely agree with you! I never profess to be an expert in anything! I'm one of the ones that say good answers when there are some--and here's another one--YOUR's is a real good answer, Chrystopher!
Stay Safe!
Jeff
Hey Jeff, good to hear from you, and on this occasion I’ll agree with you haha Happy Easter :-)
Great post.
Don't dwell and perfection - these are good reminders.
Perfection is an illusion and problems will come and go. It is important to keep moving forwards, and not use the fact that something cannot be resolved straight away stop you from doing working on something else.
Cheers James.
Thank you Louise... I love that you called perfection an illusion because "in this world" that exactly what we get!

Hi James, sorry for the response, been a bit nuts over the last few months.
Yes, you made some valid points, pick and choose what you want to get out of this platform.
I personally pick and choose what I want o read, and who to follow. But I must say, I love the following people that I have begun to know. I pay attention to many of them and choose to ignore some. Overall, I have learned a lot from many people here.
I hope your journey is going well for you.
Carla
