Not all Glory.

People who think that Entrepreneurship is a glamorous gig, obviously have it wrong…they think how cool it would be to just work for yourself, and how awesome it would be to roll out of bed whenever you want, and work in your boxers. Well, for anyone that has taken this road, or has just begun this journey, you know this is not the case at all. As Entrepreneurs, we work, harder, longer hours, and for little to no pay. Then why do we do it??

“I’d rather work 24/7 for myself, than 9-5 for someone else”…this has been seen on many posts, but it’s so true. We do what we do, because of the fire that is in us…we do what we do because we know, somewhere down the road, that it’s going to be great…we do what we do because sometimes it’s the pride of having the success, that others have said you cannot have. I’m involved with 3 different companies…and it’s only been 45 days, but I’ve busted my ass on these companies,invested money each week on these companies, all after I’ve busted my ass at my job, working sometimes 70+ hours in a week…and haven’t turned a profit, or made any money. I’m constantly doing something, as much as I can to make sure what I’m doing is going to work…and it’s not glorious at all. I go to bed at night exhausted, and drained, but stay awake thinking and planning, and figuring out my next move. I drive to work each morning, thinking, planning, and figuring out my next move. This is the life of the Entrepreneur…this is the life we chose, and at the end of the day, I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is what we do!!

Be fearless, be relentless, be so over the top hung up on your idea, that there is no choice other than success. Go get what others say you can’t have. Bet on you, and do you!! And let’s all remember, once everyone gets to where they want to be…that we are not there so we can “buy” anything we want…we are there because we have the freedom to do whatever we want.
