Find your why!
Hi Wealthy Affiliates!
I'd like to share a little story with you,
I think covid has been a huge downer for a lot of us and for myself and my mother, it meant almost losing our home, being on the literal breadline and not being able to afford basic things because we have to pay rent.
I've been dabbling in getting into online business for a few years. But I was always too scared to start. You know what everybody always says.
"You're being stupid"
"just work like the rest of us do!"
"you know it's all a scam right?"
I admit that the negativity around it got to me and I nearly didn't proceed on this journey. But about a month back I did something that changed my entire perspective. I read something my mother had written on the back of a white envelope.
"please god, give me some luck, I just want to be able to afford to live."
"My life hasn't been that good, I've had some good moments, but it doesn't feel worth it"
that was it.
I found my why.
My mother worked her entire life just to support me and my brother, sometimes working 2 or 3 different jobs at once just so we could eat. My mother never had time or money to go on holiday, or relax.
When I read that note, I realised that I need to go all in. I have to find a way to give my mother the freedom she deserves before she gets too old. I have to give back to her for all those years she spent working awful jobs.
That's the key, you have to find something that goes beyond you, you need to find a reason that is so important that you will not stop no matter what happens along the way.
So,
what is your "why?"

My why is my son.

Thanks Hugh, I know you're doing well here so it's nice talking to people that have been and done it.
Well I have a long long ways to go but glad that I am on the road with fellow WAfamily like you
Whenever we commit to something that's bigger than our own self and our own ego, motivation becomes profound. Life is truly lived when it is in service of others.
You have an honourable and admirable "why".
Thanks so much for sharing.
