An Alternative to Copyscape...

If you are like me and you are working on your own site and also writing for other's to build your portfolio and earn money while your site is "marinating" Copyscape is a necessity. However, at five cents an article, you can rack up quite a bill in a weeks time.

I needed an free alternative that is reputable, thorough and just as good as Copyscape at making sure I wasn't inadvertently making the mistake of, well I can't even type the awful "P"! (Plagiarizing) Gasp!

You see, I was taught that plagiarism is pretty much a cardinal SIN! I'm not even going to tell you what my Mamma would have done to me had she caught me doing it. I was taught to THINK; to be able to express myself with original logic and reflection upon the ideas rolling about in my head, with proper grammar and wonderful use of the english language. There are so many spectacular words to be used to convey our objectives, intentions, theories and beliefs that there is no reason to copy those of someone else.

I personally prefer DupliChecker as my free option to check the work I provide for clients. There are a few others out there that bear looking into. I do use Copyscape for my own site. However, it is nice to get a second opinion sometimes. :)

It does pay to check. I accidentally did it earlier. It was just one line that I wrote but, it was something I guess we hear so often that we don't even think about. Little things like that can slip by so quickly.
Thank you for the comment! :)

Thanks, it pays to check, sometimes you may do it accidentally.
