Looks like a great start for a site, I like the theme, but as I scrolled down I kept getting a popup that blocked half the page. Is that supposed to be there?
Jacqueline, sorry but I find the popup too large and distracting. I am not sure what to do with it...and even when I click on the tab it ads the rest of the content below the popup. It makes me want to leave your site which is not what you want a visitor to do. you must engage the visitor so they want to stay on the page and read your valuable content. If you want to use a popup have it smaller and with a close button so it can be removed by the reader if they wish.
These are just my thoughts as a visitor to your site...:)
