I have two websites and both are linked to Pinterest. I find that specialising my pins to my posts work better. I pinned an image and linked to my first post and I got over 600 hits and the image was a broccoli lol. I still don't understand Pinterest fully, but it's the only one giving me traffic at the moment. I haven't used IG yet.
Thank you for your advice. I don't understand everything from Pinterest too. I experienced it on Pinterest.fr with a math and science board for fun and I was astonished how many repins I got. I had not created one single pin but just search for the best pins to understand math and regroup them. That's why I'm so excited to learn more about it.
Thanks for your help

Pinterest-content-boards specialize or larger than the site?

Hi Jacobs :)
I have found great success with Pinterest. What I do is have a couple of general boards where I publish all my pins to regardless of the blog topics. Then I have some broad niche topics for example "parenting" and then I have some narrower niche boards to further categorize the content I am pinning such as "Breastfeeding", "Birth", "Pregnancy" etc.
So if I write an article sharing breastfeeding tips that would be pinned to my general interest board, parenting board and breastfeeding board.
Pinterest is absolutely fantastic for traffic if you fine tune your skills. I get anything from 300 - 600 visitors every day to my main business website from Pinterest.
I have created loads of training for Pinterest which you can follow. Get More Traffic - Pinterest
Hello Lynne,
This is really a top advice. Making lager boards and than finetuning with other bords is exactly what I thought would be interesting. OK, I follow your training once I've launched my first site (next week probably).
Thank You very much and have a nice day.
