Do You Use An Author Box Plugin?

I hope you are staying safe, and having a good day so far.

Thanks for your input to my GeneratePress Theme questions. I am now using it, and I prefer it to the previous theme.

Now, I have questions about an Author Box, because I no longer have an author box on my posts.

The GeneratePress free version does not offer an author box. So, I have been doing some research. I got the name of some Plugins that can be used.

However, when I go to install the Plugin. I see this: “Untested with your version of WordPress.”

I miss the Author Box and would love to have it again. During my research, I learned that a website is more trusted if an author box is showing.

So, here are my questions.

1. Do you use an Author Box Plugin that is compatible with the free version of GeneratePress. Would you recommend it?

2. Can you use a Plugin when WordPress says, “Untested with your version of WordPress?”
