I recently was asked if I had made any money by another user, to their response I said no.

The ironic thing was that I had been searching up success posts and negative posts about affiliate marketing just previously to being asked this question. I began to think that I was wasting my time in doing affiliate marketing, even though it had only been a month...

I look back on all the progress which I've made in that month and I just think that I must be crazy to think that it was a waste. And then it made me realise.

Success isn't about making a huge million dollar business or having the prettiest website. It's about what makes you proud knowing that, what you've learnt has made your goals achievable.

I messaged another user who had been doing this for 2 years and he told me this: I checked out your site and it looks great! 50 visitors a day after starting your website is really impressive; this number will start to sky rocket if you continue pumping out content every day. Don't worry too much about sales at this point, the early phases in building your website are all about producing quality content and building trust with Google.

What I am getting at is:

- Enjoy what you are doing

- Be passionate about your brand

- Constantly read other people's blogs in the same/ similar niche area as you to get inspired.

- Read blogs like mine on other higher ranked users on wealthy affiliate, to get helpful tips.

- Research new innovative ways to make your website standout

- ASK QUESTIONS

- Success will come, Be patient

and always stay optimisic even if your views drop dramatically, don't let numbers get to your head because at the end of the day "the most important thing is not to burn yourself out, make sure you're enjoying producing content".
