Frightened and Scared but Getting Prepared
i sit here. 25 years old in someone else's home. Never knowing a home of my own for more than a few short months and it's saddening. I work for a company that treats it's employees as if they should know their jobs when they were not trained to do it. It's tiring and frustrating. You know that feeling when you think, This is it. This is my life.
Well, i've reached that point. So I decided to try something new. Cost me almost everything I had, but I was willing to try. What more could I lose. So I joined you, here at WA. And honestly I see a lot of inspiring words floating by about building from the ground up and even people's entire lives on display about how they succeeded to create something that brought them joy. I want that and I'm willing to work for it.
The problem? I don't exactly know where to begin....I know too much about alot and honestly even though I'm no expert, I don't think I know enough to make a profitable or even a helpful site.
It has been said that diligence and patience pay off. But when you know something to give reasonable advice about, How can you stick to that subject afterward?
What are some ways people have moved past this anxious feeling and know if anything is really useful when you have a head full of information that no one wants?

Agree completely with subnetbuzz.
It sounds like you've ended up becoming a "jack of all trades and master of none". You'll be surprised at how quickly you can become knowledgable in a certain subject especially if you focus all your attention on that one thing.
I'm not sure I understand this statement: "It has been said that diligence and patience pay off. But when you know something to give reasonable advice about, How can you stick to that subject afterward?"
I've been in and around technology for 30 years. I've been in the SEO world, and beyond. I can tell you that WA has two things that I find profoundly valuable.
1) Step by step instructions. I know the material, but my ADD type personality benefits from this structure.
2) A community. People to bounce ideas off of, help launch and link to information, and frankly just to support each other as needed.
Go through the courses, the structure is there. Persist even when you don't "feel like it", and you'l be surprised what you can do. :)

Hey there :)
I am sure you have something that you like to do or talk about with your friends, maybe even it is something that people come to you for advice.
It could be anything.
That "thing", is a good place to start. And you do not have to be an expert on it.
You can always write from a beginner's standpoint and then the more knowledgeable you get, the more information you'll have to share on your site.
Hope this help.
