Hello everyone.
I am quite confused with my theme template and I hope I can attach screen shots.
I am trying to set up an e-commerce site and they are beautiful to look

Themes will not always look the same when you preview them (before you install them) versus when you actually start using them as there are features, images, etc. that can change the look of your website.

Not to worry at all here though, that is quite normal and as you build out your website, the design and look will evolve as you create content.

There may also be many different customizations you can do with your theme.

If you go to Appearance => Themes (and "customize" for your particular theme ) within the back office of your website, you will likely see your home page header there which you can upload an image for.

There are typically many other settings in there as well that you can use to manipulate theme colours, font colours, theme images, logos, menus, structure/layout, etc.

See attached image for reference.

Thank you so much. It’s been awhile since I’ve worked on a website. I will check everything out. I really appreciate how quickly my question was answered. I feel better already, the support is wonderful.
Here is a screen shot of what I’m seeing. I guess what your saying is I will be able to move these “box’s or posts” around to achieve the finished site?

I also just saw the help section for website building. I will repost there if you think I should.

You really shouldn't work on our website on your phone. You lose a lot of functionalities doing that. You should access it on a desktop computer or laptop.

Some themes also have an extra menu that have even WAY MORE options than that Customizer gives you.

Lastly, make sure you downloaded the right theme. ;) (in case, the reason another reason why it could look totally different if the other reasons mentioned above didn't apply.)

What you see in their image/demo is their site fully setup and running. It's kind of like a cake picture on the box. You see the end result but you don't get that immediately after opening.

You'll need to make sure you have all of the required plugins installed (if any) and then you'll need to go in and set everything up.

Most themes have documentation. I suggest you head over to the theme's home page and see if you can find the how-to's or manual to help walk you through all the options your theme offers.

Another option is to see if anyone else here is using the same theme and ask if they'd be willing to help you get it up and running.

Thank you so much I will do that.

Hello
I’m not happy with the theme I picked. It’s very limited and I want to change my theme can I do this? I really do not want to publish it to change themes a

it's always sensible to make a backup. This is because sometimes the capabilities of the theme are different and you lose certain aspects by changing and you don't get them back by going back. Either that or create a test site here at wealthy affiliate's camp to duplicate of your own site up to test new themes

Yes Klynn you can change your theme any time
