3/11 A Year Later
Today a year ago, our earthquake alarm went off and we rushed to the TV and saw the reports of an big earthquake hitting east Japan. The picture came slow, a tsunami wave was expected and we try to get in contact with friends and family.
Many hours later we heard first what the tsunami did, not understanding in full what really happen. Followed by radiation rumors, worries came and stayed. The following days where hard. We had to make very hard decisions, hoping we don't have to execute them as we made them. Sorting information, trying to determine which once to trust and which not, what action was needed and when. Getting family and friends to a saver place without causing panic.
Glued to mobile and email, TV and radio. It got so bad we had to ban TV and radio, limiting email, try to get a routine, some normality.... it wasn't easy.
Now a year later all these memories came back,realizing it is not over, a certain danger is still present, only known to some. It feels like to be in the eye of a storm, hoping the eye is big enough to stay long enough, to make the storm disappear.

thanks, we made it. it was not to bad for us where I am, but we have/ had plenty of indirect effects up to now.
Now we have a new set of personal challenges we will not be able to escape the pass ahead. Time became the most valuable asset to us. Nothing will stay the same, I have to find ways to maximize everything and will need lots of help and Angels to make it.
I can't imagine what you must of gone through during the Fukushima disaster and dealing with the repercussions now. You're in my prayers.
