A minor boast in one of the few places they won't be impressed.
One of my wise acquisitions (which so far haven't produced any revenue) was a SEO site called seo-linker.com. However, when I moved it to my hosting platform, it somehow lost all the pricing tables in the move.
Most people who would consider buying SEO off a website, when they find no pricing, won't ask for a quote - they'll just move on. So, I contacted the guy who made the website, and he wouldn't do it for under $100, since I didn't buy the site directly from him.
Since it had GoPricing installed (by that original designer), I tried creating a price table myself. A white flag soon was seen flying over my bunker.
So, I had to go buy GoPricing to get access to their templates, then pick one, then watch their - ugggh - voiceless how-to vids, and turn one of their templates into a table for Local SEO. Then, I figured out how to create a PayPal button. Then I figured out how to install the PP button. Then, how to find the Table's shortcode, and install it on the bottom of the Local SEO page. Then, how to clone that table for the National SEO page, add a column, edit it, put in the right PP buttons, and install it on the National SEO page...
So, while I still have the PPC table &,the website design to go - and while I still didn't get to sleep until after 4AM last night - I felt very accomplished!
