Hi I'm new to this affiliate marketing thing although I've seen plenty of ads promoting it. After recently coming across a friend that does this locally I started to see that it's actually possible to do this for a living. Now I'm not entirely sure about it all just yet but I sure do hope it's everything that it claims to be.

A little about me is that I work in a sales position that's commission only. Yes there are times where I'm doing alright and getting paid fairly well for it, but with the way my local market swings and the amount of competition there is, it's tough to make a decent income without having to dedicate ALL your time to work. And as much as I enjoy what I do, It's certainly frustrating to have to miss your kids soccer games because I have to work. There's no balance and this is what attracts me to affiliate marketing.

So let's see how this goes. I'm always open to learn things and I truly hope this offers me the freedom that it seemingly promises.
