Tomorrow may be too late

Today, I witnessed something devastating.

I was at work and a co-worker next to me just received a message saying that a friend of her daughter just died. He was 23. He was sleeping and when his parents tried to wake him up in the morning, he wouldn't open his eyes.

I can't imagine the level of pain that moment can cause to somebody.

It's always hard to say goodbye for good to somebody you love but it's never fair to outlive your children, It just isn't.

These sort of happenings inevitably make you think about your own life.

How short it really is... How fast it goes... What you are doing with it...

And especially, how much time we waste on banal things instead of taking care and enjoy the important ones.

I just wanted to share this with you, so that you won't take a single day of your life for granted, because one day, all of a sudden, without any previous notice, it can just end.

Just like that.

We get just one life, and we're free to make whatever we want out of it (yeah, we are, we really are), so it's up to us to make every moment count.

Think about what makes you happy and do it. JUST DO IT.

No asking for permission, no wondering if people will understand, no doubting if that's the right thing to do.

Don't postpone it, don't think you can do it tomorrow, whatever it is you feel like doing today, do it, if that's what you love and your heart pumps with excitement when you think about it, go do it.

Tomorrow may be too late.

I wish you a happy, fulfilling and long life, my friends.

Yes Israel, you need to make the most of every day, Best Alan

That's for sure, my friend.
All the best.

A poignant message Israel. A motorcycle took one of mine. You never forget!

I'm so sorry you had to go through such painful moment Mike :(

Thank you Israel!

Young deaths are especially disheartening.

Your post is also a nice reminder to appreciate what, and who, we have in life.

Have a great day.

Yeah, we need to stop for a second and really focus on what's important, right?
Thanks for your comment, Chris.
You have a great day too, my friend.
