A Brighter Future Begins
My very 1st blog post.....hmmm. I Am SO excited, I Am so happy to be here. Has been a very long road indeed. Dare I tell you? Searching mind for the shorter version. First, my computer needed to visit the vet, as it were. My phone has been hacked which resulted in someone using my credit card at a place called Playster.com so being as there is a dispute against my card, is suspended for now. But the worst part has been the ads. I have been studying as best I can with ads popping up every 5 minutes (I think it is now every 2.5 minutes). Has been driving me nuts cuz it really destroys the continuity of a thought process. Esp. When 1 is forced to suffer thru at least 5 seconds of the ad before 1 is allowed to x out or skip the ad. I have been fuming thru this, have done the lessons up to 4 x each to make sure I didn't miss anything. And then yesterday, I had to walk down to the Post Office to get a gift card to avail myself of Premium status in -38 degree weather. I did it! I Am so pleased with myself this morning. I Am Not the excitable type of person - but I feeĺ closer to my goals than ever & almost cannot contain it. Way too funny (Not). Have had to deal with 6 ads just writing this. Persistence pays off hugely. There is another quote that has seriously affected mý progress. It said "95% of people fail because they quit". So, I figured if I just kept putting 1 foot in front of the other - & it worked. I got here - am so stoked, esp. after all the unkept promises & lack of authenticity in other places on the 'net. I Am so pleased. Will get my computer back asap. Until then, must remember that the device in my hand is the most powerful power tool that has ever graced my hand. In spite of the ads (Not sure how to 'unhack' my phonething yet) might need another 1. I feel like I've won something very important here. I Am so looking forward to this journey now. I want to say "I SO Say Thank you". Both to you & to myself for having enough faith to keep goìng & enough patience to keep going when I've had times I just wanted to huck this device against the wall for continually interrupting my studies. I Am grateful I was learning content worth knowing at this point or I might have killed this device. RAK
