Challenging Changes
I have been on a fast track with training since I joined a few weeks ago, but now I'm finding I have to slow down. I received some excellent feedback on my website yesterday, and it really opened my eyes that there is much more than just the technical aspects to take into consideration when building a niche site. In fact, it pretty much makes the technical side the easy part!
I am now going back through and revamping my website. I am in the iPhone niche to tie into my local business, and while in the beginning I was just getting my feet wet and happy to get a website with some content out there, now I'm realizing how important it is to come across professionally, enthusiastically, and personally. It's such a "techie" field, you tend to lose the personable aspect, and I'm enjoying the challenge of making these changes.
The experience of the members here at Wealthy Affiliate is just invaluable. To have a new set of eyes on your website and give you direction can make all the difference. The feedback I received has forced me to delve deeper into the image, voice, and tone that I present myself with on the web. It's challenging, but I know the benefits are going to pay off. I won't lie - it's work!! - but I'm thankful to learn this at the beginning. What an exciting, dynamic undertaking we are all on!
