Navy Submarine Service Vet from long ago. Ran away from technology several decades ago, LOL! As of late, I've been getting by on my Veterans Disability Compensation and decided it is time to make an extra income - the stress free way. I suppose stress will be an initial part of learning to use the web to my advantage, but I'm convinced that if I learn fast and get everything set up JUST right, I might then be on virtual autopilot while commissions begin to filter in. Am I correct, or is that a common pipe dream and will soon learn that I'm grafted onto my laptop 24/7? Oh no, here I go....Hey, life is a never-ending adventure & I love it!
Intofuture1's Goals 3
Money Goals
I will be happy to earn - in addition to my VA Disability Compensation - an extra $4,000.00 monthly. I will be on top of the world if I earn $10,000.00 from my online efforts. However, because of my disability, I will be doing great if I can work beyond 8 hours daily on a regular basis.

Money I would be happy earning

Money I would be ecstatic earning

I wish you all the best in working to achieve your goals. I believe the key in obtaining any goal is consistent action, analyzing your results, and then redirecting your actions steps to take you closer to your goal if you are going off track.

What are you doing here?? This is where people work smarter, not harder. If you devoted just 4 hard core hours a day you would blow the doors of your projection, it would probably be $100,000.00 a month. I can say this to you because I to am also on VA Disability and I live check to check. You're in the right place, at the right time, so get the ball and don't stop till you exceed your wildest dreams!! God bless

Nice goals Christopher,

These are going to take you to a whole new level of being focused, motivated, and dedicated to what you are learning here at WA.

As you work through the training lessons, make sure to ask questions when you have them, and take action on what you are learning. You have a full community of friendly people behind you!

I look forward to working with you :)

From one Vet to another, you have set some goals that are not beyond reach, even with a disability. After I wrote mine down I put them in my wallet so they are always with we; this might help you also. Step by step, day after day and you (and all the WA associates) can achieve success. Best of luck!

Thank you for your positive feedback! I'm currently waiting on a charger from eBay so that I can operate my used laptop that I just bought. I'm currently getting by with an Android phone & of course it is not adequate for my upcoming needs. Thus said, I am taking baby steps until I'm able to jump in with both feet. I figured that I better upgrade to premium so that when my charger arrives I can Rev it up. Earning a second income to my VA compensation is paramount, as I never had anything in savings; I lived month to month agonizing over how to best augment my income without having the stress of dealing with a boss and coworkers. Just so you understand what I mean, I am 70% disabled with PTSD. I have good days and bad days. Thankfully, it seems that Wealthy Affiliate is the path that will deliver me to a major change of lifestyle.

OK - You really want to focus there, and learn each segment well. There is a lot to learn and it's best to go in order and learn each step. If you have trouble with a section, you can type in the search bar at the top of your page. There is a lot of good trainings there. Welcome! by the way. Hey! Don't stress!! :) Enjoy the journey

Hi Christopher!
Welcome to WA. Just a gentle word of advice. Get to the lessons because the sooner you do, the quicker your motivation begins and the quicker you can see what you know and what you don't know and what you need to do.
Following you now. All the best at WA

Thank you! I have all the best intentions to learn everything quickly, however my personal schedule won't slow down until tomorrow and then I will be able to spend an 8 hour day doing whatever I can to build a rather complicated idea into a website.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Hi, and thank you for your quick response! I hadn't finished typing my query earlier and somehow it sent to you anyway. What I was getting at is that my niche is a stress-free lifestyle. I intend to write on my website the many options for living with as little stress as possible. I'd like to call it "Low Vibes." The thing is that this relatively narrowed down niche could lead to many different product opportunities and therefore would become to seem broad. For instance, one day I could be writing about just relaxing, then lead my followers toward purchasing incense or massage oil or aromatherapy products. But then one day I might be suggesting exercise for long term stress relief and lead them toward a bicycle purchase or a health spa vacation. Or sometime I might write about the effects of stress leading some people to alcoholism or drug addiction and send up leads to various rehab centers around the nation or world. So, you see this simple niche could blow up into marketing too many products for a beginner to handle. What is your opinion and/or suggestion?

Cool, I like your idea Christopher and I think it will give you lots of flexibility to cover many other topics (as you mentioned). Cool approach and I look forward to seeing your website progress moving forward. Keep me updated!

Yeah, Rome wasn't built in a night nor is your business. :) Just have to make time as you move forward and the time and effort you invest will always be represented in the way your business grows and to what size it will grow.

Let me know if you need a hand with anything going forward. :)
