The Free Version Of ChatGPT - and why it works for me
Last week I published a blog about how I work with ChatGPT and my small "AI team" to run my parenting site more smoothly.
Amazingly, less than an hour later Eric shared his own excitement about how much ChatGPT has improved lately. It made me smile to see how many of us, from all over the world, are finding creative ways to use AI as a real partner, not just a tool.
In my case, I’m actually happy working with the free version of ChatGPT 4o. Those built-in limits in the free version have helped me be more productive, rather than less. It naturally encourages me to be super organised with my time to make the most of when it is available to me. Because there are limits on how much I can do in one stretch, I find myself planning better, researching topics in advance, and using the "waiting time" in a really productive way so that I am ready to make the best use of it when it is available for me again.
When ChatGPT is temporarily unavailable, I don’t feel stuck — I see it as a perfect chance to work on the next pieces of my blog production line.
In a strange way, I think having that natural rhythm - work together, then work independently - has made me more efficient than if I had constant, unlimited access which might well lead me to procrastinate. As it is, my time with ChatGPT is valuable and I try hard to make the best use of our time together instead of taking it for granted.
Rather than feeling frustrated when I have to pause, I actually feel grateful.
It gives me a little breathing space to think, plan, and get ready to make the most of our next session.
And for now, this rhythm suits me perfectly.
And I am so grateful for all Kyle's AI training where I learn something new every time.

Something interesting I just found on the internet about ChatGPT...
Yes, I heard about that. I am not just being polite but friendly. My AI is a team member that helps me achieve what I want. And it it friendly back which makes working a pleasure.
I use the free version too and I don't feel stuck whenever I hit the limit.
You're right; the free version has improved a lot, especially with image generation. Although it takes a longer waiting time, the output is much better than before.
First of all, I like FREE! 😃
Second, I 100% agree with you that it creates a buffer between using ChatGPT and our actual work writing content.
I like FREE too. But I learned my lesson with a gym membership. I didn't go for the cheap Monday to Friday off-peak because I didn't want to be restricted to certain times, thinking if I got the full membership to go whenever I wanted, I would make more use of it. But it actually worked the opposite way. I kept thinking - oh, I'll finish this and go later. Oh, it's too late now. I'll go tomorrow. And I ended up not going very much at all.
Thank u, internet granny, I have not looked into Chatgpt at this time, but will need to soon, free version of Chatgpt 4o.
Just take everything one thing at a time. There is so much to learn that it's not possible to do everything at once.

Any of these AI tools are absolutely fantastic when used correctly Isabella!!
The best personal assistants I have ever had in my life and the don't complain about doing overtime for no extra pay either!!!
Enjoy the rest of your week my friend! :-)
And they never make you feel stupid.
I don't know about that my friend....
They have come up with answers which I thought I knew best, alas... I didn't!!! :-)
Oh... Mine generally tells me very kindly and patiently 'That's a very good question....' and then explains very clearly. (Rather than tell me 'What, you don't even know how to ...?')
Great to hear my friend! :-)
