My Journey with Skool Update
Hey folks, a few months ago, I started to do a series on Skool Groups as a form of monetization. I then fell ill for a bit, and here I am finally reporting back that I will launch my group officially sometime in February. I do need surgery to repair a hernia first.
For the time being, I am only on the Hobby Plan at $9 per month while I await the funds to come in to upgrade to the full membership at $99 a month.
The hobby plan is great for blogs with a good following, YouTube Creators, and others with a captive audience or large email list. You do sort of get lost in the mix on Hobby if you don't have that crowd. I currently have 24 members, and when my surgery is done will be going on the Network Marketing Insiders Podcast to help build buzz for the official launch.
Hobby plan drawbacks are that I can not do Live Webinars yet, no Live Q&A Sessions, No Affiliate Program until I upgrade, and a few plugins and features, both current and planned, that add superpowers to the system.
My group is now laser-focused on beginner to intermediate bloggers looking to increase engagement, learn new skills, and receive our niche kits that give all the research needed to lay out a 90-day bootcamp blog based on an in-depth customer avatar.
There is so much to learn on Skool, and I have to pace myself to avoid burnout, so I decided to sell down several of my domains and even put Kiosk Social up for sale to handle the load. The theBlogMan.com Brand is starting to really take shape. We are ready to bring in members at $15 a month or $139 a year, and look forward to maybe a video tour in the coming days.
Reach out and DM me if you have a Skool Group, especially one related to doing business online, as I am looking for cross-promotions and other Joint Ventures to grow together.

I have several memberships on Skool. With my limited time, I have not created my classroom - yet.
It is on the to-do list. But I may just join yours for now. I imagine I could add a few interesting posts there as well.
Keep us all posted and best of luck with your surgery.

Thank you and Skool is great for monetizing your niche beyond selling digital products or just focusing on affiliate earnings.
Thanks for the update and for being transparent about the journey.
Wishing you a smooth surgery and fast recovery.
It’s great to see theBlogMan.com really coming together.
Sounds like a strong offer for beginner to intermediate bloggers. Looking forward to seeing the official launch and the video tour. 🙌
10 years ago, I went through an inguinal hernia operation. I wish you a speedy recovery and all the very best with your school groups.
Surely, I will pray for you today... Sending blessings and healing! Everything will be alright! GOD bless!

Thanks for the detailed update! It sounds like you’ve been juggling a lot, and it’s great to hear your group is coming together despite everything. The focus on beginner-to-intermediate bloggers and the niche kits sounds super valuable. Wishing you a smooth recovery from surgery and an exciting official launch in February! I’ll definitely keep your cross-promotion idea in mind.
