Explosion of Potential As I Finish Wealthy Affiliate Core Training
I know, I have been here 10+ years and 2+ of them the hubs updates have been flowing in and coming together, but I allowed life and being trapped in my head to delay getting started on the HUBS Core Trainings. In fact I have attended more Premium Plus classes than I have Core Training in the past 2 years. No excuses, because they would all be LAME regardless.

The fact is, we never stop learning, even if we have been working online for years, things are continually changing!
It's interesting, Andy, it looks like we started online round about the same time! The Internet used to really annoy me when we had the old-fashioned dial-up here in the UK, it was just so frustrating and painful to use. However, in 2004 I had my first broadband connection, which to me, changed the face of the Internet! I could immediately see the power and the potential of the Internet, and that's when I started researching about Internet marketing, etc.
Interestingly enough, it looks like you joined Wealthy Affiliate five months before me!

I imagine, like me, you looked at WA a dozen times or more before joining, too. I started my journey with a Yahoo, Group on Gardening, and it took 3 months to get a small commission on Ebay Partner Network. The rest is a storied history.
I always find it fascinating how everyone started online, Andy.
That's right, I did look at Wealthy Affiliate several times, but I was also with a much smaller Internet marketing training platform before I joined Wealthy Affiliate. The only reason I left the other platform was due to the fact the owner stopped producing content. There was a period where I was a member of both platforms, that was too much! So I settled for Wealthy Affiliate, which was a good choice.
It sounds like you were quicker than me, Andy. I was really keen to learn how to make money online but didn't know how, even though I could see the potential. Unfortunately, I purchased lots of scam type products, which did not do what they said on the packet. It took me three years to actually have a professional website created, as I had no interest in creating my own website at that time.
The good thing was that the man I used to build my first make money website built the back office, so that I could upload content, which gave me a head start when we went live. I actually started earning the first day the website went live by selling a product, although the website was actually built as an AdSense site, which ended up having quite a few bolt on's to bring more streams of income!
