Does Blogging Take Creativity?
Some people talk themseleves out of blogging because they think you need to be creative like a person who writes a novel instead of studious like a teenager writing a book report but the truth is passion in how you talk is all you need.
If you get excited about your research and love your topic writing is like telling a story to a friend or teaching a co-worker a job skill. We do this all the time and now you can get paid serious money for it.
How many times have you trained well enough in a Just Over Broke to be in a position that bosses have you train new employees? Have you gone fishing or hunting and told a friend about the tript, about your gear? This is what writing a blog is like and if you have issues with spelling and grammar there are tools ranging from Grammarly. I use the free version. To Dragon Naturally Speaking which does the typing while you just talk.
If you use Dragon or plan to do video you can use a fun trick and take a picture of a friend or loved one and print it out, cut it out, and paste it on a styrofoam manequine head you can get for under $10 at a craft store. I got one once at Michaels for like $6 on clearance to practice public speaking.
From there tell your story to your friendly audience and watch your following grow.

If it comes as a story you know it has the heart of the storyteller and is worth the time investment because it is very real. Emotions connect humans far better than words.
Thanks, I was about this close to being on Jay's webinar tonight but decided I needed to watch the others in the series first. Hope your year has been better than ours.
I know what you mean...I'll have to catch the replay as well. This year has been tough for many, but I cannot really complain. May I wish you and your family a much better year ahead.
A good message, Andy! Some excellent tips here too, my friend! I have Dragon version 12 though I have not used it very much! I will eventually for another project that I want to do!

Russell Brunson has been posting all month about don't think do and it is a shared theme because you will never be very good at anything you don't start.
Only so much time in a day, my friend! One day at a time! Starting is sometimes the most difficult part!
Jeff
For some niches like especially if you are a travel writer or want to instill a vision in people of what could be but to start you need not be a wordsmith at all. Your story you bring in is the story people don't just want but need to hear.
P.S.
I am half tempted to start a Micro Niche blog sometime on True Crime and it will really test that creativity much like MMO has me doing a lot of Parables and Examples from the top of my head.

I agree, Andy. I sued to think that I had to be the most prolific writer with an extensive vocabulary when it comes to blogging. I've thrown all of that out and resorted to telling people my personal story. I found that to be easiest for me.
Isaiah 😊
