Receive and give back (one more way to do it)

One of the things that makes this community working and wanting to be a part of it, is the fact that its members are helping each other (without wanting to sell you something ;) ). It is real help, based on experience, knowledge, trials (and not only) and that is why you can trust it.
One way to give it back is to help others and this is a wonderful way to do it.
But recently I got an idea (from an answer I got by asking a question in the chat) of another way to give back. Actually this is a way to give back to the person who helped you (without costing you anything).
As you might know, inside WA you are not allowed to use your affiliate links to promote something (even if this is a great service that helped you). And I like this rule a lot: this way, you are sure that everybody is saying the true when they are recommending something.

I was not sure about this, so I asked if I can use an affiliate link inside WA. The answer I got was: no, because this will be a way of promoting something, but I could post the info just like this and if somebody would think of or want to, they could write me in a PM asking for my affiliate link to join the program or the service.
Maybe most of the people will not think to do it and this will be the norm. We are all here ( at AW) to learn more about how to start and develop our own business.
Just, I used today this idea. I got a recommendation for a service that really fits my needs. I checked it and saw that they offer gifts to the people who referred you to them. I wrote today to the WA member who recommended it to me and asked for her affiliate link. I just wanted to be able to give back to her because she helped me (and it was the first time that we connected then here, at WA. Sometimes, it still feels unusual for a stranger to help you without wanting something in return).
So, if you will be in the same situation as me (and for sure all of us were, are or will be in this situation and not only once), you could do the same. Just another way to say thank you for the help. Who knows, maybe somebody will do the same with you :).
I hope that I am not breaking any WA rule by writing this...
I wish you a great day and remember: give, receive and be thankful,
Ina- Eliza
