A way to help other WA folks with Amazon sales

Hey All! One of the things I do to help my fellow WA friends out is go through their blog when I purchase on amazon instead of going directly to amazon.

For example: So lets say I need to buy cat food.

I go my profile and look at my network, specifically people who follow me.

I click on a profile.

I look to see if they have their website(s) listed.

I find one that is an amazon affiliate site.

I click on a product on their site.

Add that item to my cart.

then I add the cat food (or whatever Item I intended to buy) to my cart

Then I delete the product from the cart that I clicked on from the WA members website that got me to Amazon.

then I check out.

It's a few extra steps but then someone in my network is getting paid a commission on my cat food or what ever I buy. So if you got a commission on cat food recently when you don't have a blog on cats- you're welcome!

The amazon TOS (terms of service) say you cannot ask someone to buy through your specifically, however, that doesn't preclude your relatives or friends or anyone on WA from doing that on their own.

It takes me about three extra minutes to find a website from the people that are following that is an Amazon site over just going straight to the amazon site through Google to make my purchase. I like knowing that I may be the person giving someone in my network their first sale and securing their amazon credentials. I also like helping my fellow WA'ers earn a commission.

So if you buy products directly through Amazon just in your everyday life, consider looking for someone in your network's website to click through on your way to the Amazon site. I use a different person from the people who follow me every time, to share the love. 3 extra minutes is about all it takes to help a someone out.
