How can I boost a Blog Roll??...
Hello Everybody!
I've been working with a buddy that has a website that has several categories of free blogging for his website. He has around 8,000 members. What I'm trying to do is figure out how I can help him boost his traffic numbers. His bloggers are providing a massive amount of content, just not necessarily focused on keywords. It's very similar to what Hubpages is doing. Just a smaller scale, but in the building process.
He has a great opportunity to provide focused Affiliate advertising for each category of Blog listings (ie, business, arts, entertainment, etc). This is a great situation for him. But how to boost his SEO with good keywords amongst a mass of random blogs is something I haven't really had to think about much yet.
Is it best to just make sure that he has some blogs with good keyword content that will drag traffic to that one blog?
A bit confused.... But I would like to learn from any of the smarties in here.

I am not a smartie but this got me to thinking
What if he could go over each blog and do a make over with a keyoword on the heading and first paragraph
Or
What if your friend gave a keyword to each person to write about
I know am all over but keywords bring in traffic which can be given the right information and bring about business
