Did You Do This Before You Hit Publish?
This won't be the first or the last time you hear this, did you double check your work before you hit publish?
Did you check a couple of times for spelling mistakes. Grammar can be a difficult thing, especially between different languages however, does your article flow and make sense?
There are so many different tools that are meant to speed things up for us but we still have to make sure they do the job correctly.
We all have spell checkers and the extension Grammarly is very popular and highly recommend by many people, but does it always work?
I don't use the extension because I am Canadian, and yes we spell things a little differently then our neigbOURS to the south.
My favOURite online tools streamline many things for me, but at the end of the day, you can't ASSUME (yeah that damn word eh) that everything saves without any mistakes.
We are in the content writing business and if you are like me, when I read an article on any website, especially editorials and such, I hold spelling mistakes against the writer.
So just a little advice to help you own your articles and shine, make sure before you hit publish, you double check, triple check your work. In fact, have another person review it for you as well.
Tools are great, but they are not guaranteed. We want to shine when we publish, not have a blemish for our readers.
Thanks for reading.

Thanks for sharing this . As a teacher it is a favOURite rant of my for my students (in the UK). I agree that this is something that we should all do before we publish. Not only will it help with those typos and spellings, but it also helps us check that we 'say what we mean, and mean what we say!' Gail
The "prepublishing freeze" hangs me up frequently Jared!
