One of the Worst Flood in My HomeTown

As usual this morning, I woke up, took my bath and get myself ready for breakfast when I get this phone call from a friend of my.It sound something like:

"Hi, Joel welcome back to Malaysia, I guess you will want to check out on your folks back home, I heard the floods this year is so much more terrible then usual."

Wow, what a headline first thing in the morning. I quickly turn on my MacBook Air and got online to check out the latest news, and sure enough it is indeed bad. Worst then I can imagine.

I tried to call my parents, relatives and friends but at the moment all telecommunication is cut off from the outside world. I finally got to a friend of my who manage to get out from the state two days ago. The word is that, due to the flood all electric supplies and water supplies were cut off. No wonder I cannot get to them through my mobile as maybe they just can't charge their gadgets.

I did ask my friend which manage to leave town before the flood worsen, am I able to get in town. The answer was negative. No plane flying in, the roads were cut off temporary. So, I guess all that I can do is just sit here and pray and wait. I just hope that my family and friends are alright.

I tried to post some of the pictures up here in my blog, and I simply cannot understand why I can't do that. The pictures are in Jpeg format.

So I do hope that my friends in Wealthy Affiliate are able to spare some free time saying a word or two in your prayer for my family, friends and the people in the affected areas. Anyway, I do think it is a bad time since it is Christmas and New Year season in the whole world. For that I will like to apologize for bringing out events like this in such a time.

Enough said, still I will like to wish everybody here HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.
