Getting money is easy, keeping it? (that's another story.)

As we wind down this year and come into the next, I've been trying to make an effort to really
understand what it takes to succeed.

At Life Is An Adventure, I make recommendations
based upon various interests and cool things I find.

But...there's one thing I want to talk about today and
that's money. Actually keeping it!!!

It's really not that hard to start generating profit
online. It really isn't. Starting today you could:

1. Learn a skill this weekend (build a website)
2. Offer a promotion to do it for someone
3. Collect your check.

It's obviously a little more involved, but you could do it.

But what do you do after you've gotten the money?

This is the BIG PROBLEM for most in the IM industry.

You'll see the big houses, fancy cars, screenshots of
the big bank accounts, but what you won't ever see is...

The poor money management.

That's why these guys keep having the 'last time'
sale or 'I am leaving IM sale' or (whatever),
because they know how to generate the money,
but they have no skill in keeping it or growing it.

AND No plan for how to do so.

So let me offer you a bit of advice if I may.

While you're working on getting to where you want to go financially online, do the following:

1. Live under your current income if possible

2. Pay yourself first, Put 1,000 or 10% in savings.

3. Keep the car you have unless you just have to
get another and even then, don't buy new.

4. Work on getting 3 months of living expenses in
the bank, then 6, and then 1 year.

5. Work on getting out of debt, pay the small ones first.

6. Look for making the money you get from your
online efforts work for you in other ways and that
creates other streams of income.

7. Only spend money on items that will make more money,
for example upgrades at good advertising sites.

And finally, look at what it takes to live the life you
want to live, but on a daily income basis.

When you follow the above tips, you're going to save
yourself a lot of stress because if life ever winds up
'happening', which it does, you'll be like the guy who
built his house on a rock instead of sinking in the sand.

Sure, everyone talks about making it online, but no one
talks about how to keep it.

Make keeping it your priority for 2019, lets have a great year together.
