Hello to all ! Just a few words about my first 2 months at WA. I am currently near the end of Level 2 training and I have learned so much.
I have my own website on a domain I purchased, with content I created. I learned how to SEO my content (thanks to Jay @Magistudios) and my posts have been indexed in Google.
The first niche I am working on is related to home security systems. I chose this based on the experience of one of my neighbors. Their home was entered and cash was stolen. This happened during the day when both occupants were at home. I realized this could just have easily been our home.

Moving forward, my most immediate goals are getting my site set-up in Bing Webmaster Tools, and completing Levels 3 & 4 in the online entrepreneur training. After that, I plan to implement the YouTube pieces that Jay has detailed. Onward and upward.
I confess, at times I have been stumped, confused, and confounded while going through the training. However, I've found it very rewarding when I do overcome an obstacle and accomplish the task at hand. Ultimately, I believe that is the real value of being part of this community at Wealthy Affiliate. I feel very blessed to be here.
Oh, by the way - I spent my first 4 years of public education sitting in desks just like the ones pictured at the top of my blog. Old inkwell hole and all.
