Wordpress - Comments on Pages
I am not sure if someone else is having the same problems I had, but in my little life this problem was significant and I felt like a complete ROCKSTAR for solving it! ;)
I started setting up my website and the training mentions that you should ask people to review and comment on your pages.... only... my pages didn't allow for comments! I read, I Googled, I asked, I couldn't find the answer anywhere! Someone mentioned that some themes don't allow comments on pages, which is a valid comment and definitely applies to some themes. I therefore set out to find a different theme that allows comments on pages.
After careful research and triple checking that my new theme allows comments, I activated it. But alas, no comments! At this stage I was ready to give up hope! But then I had an idea - what if there is a plugin for comments? And there is!
I searched for "Comments on Pages" and the plugin I installed is called "Allow Comments on Pages by Default":
It works like a charm! The only negative is that I had to re-create my pages because the comments option is only added to new pages. It was a simple copy and paste exercise but well worth it for the benefit of having comments on my pages.

Hey,
Don't know if you have already tried this. Go to your pages or posts tab in your WordPress, hover over the page you want to activate comments and click on "quick edit". There will be a box you can click to allow comments on that page.
