Consider this my "Hello World!"
Hey WA Community!!! So I just thought that I should try to get over my... (sigh)... inertia ... and start writing... and I thought I just might start with this "short" entry (in retrospect, I kinda noticed that it's no longer short). There's nothing informative in this post... Really!... I just thought I'd take the time out to appreciate the support so far from members of the community. I've been inspired by the progress some of us have made... ShannonSB I'm looking at you (and my eyebrows are still raised, by the way)... and I'm hoping to imbibe some of the good traits and mannerisms that will help me on my way to achieving the dream of living a life where my "active" income is fully internet based while my passive income is... well, you know... passively very active *wink* *wink*.
All in all, thanks to everyone who's followed me so far, thanks to everyone who has given me words of encouragement and support. I'm kind of a crab... really (cancerian so pun may or may not be intended... I'm not sure yet.) My initial instinct on WA here was to withdraw into my shell, be quiet, observe and take note. But the warmth of the community and the realization of the fact that "I ain't gon' get nuh'n done if I'm stuck in my shell" is leading me to come out bit by bit. Thanks again everyone. I'm appreciative. I will try to post an entry everyday. Sometimes it won't contain anything informative (like this one) but I do hope to report on my daily progress, minuscule as it may be. As they say, what gets measured gets managed.

P.S: The title of this post is a hark back to my admittedly limited self-acquired programming skills. The first program you write when learning programming is one that outputs "Hello World!", irrespective of whatever language you code in (meanwhile, just for fun you might like to check out this link that shows the source code for "Hello World!" in 15 mindbogglingly funny programming languages... lol: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/bizarre-insane-programming-languages/). So as I said in the title, "Consider this my Hello World!". Ciao.

Welcome to the community, it will be very difficult to just sit back and not participate in some way I think because this is an "in your face" (in a good way) type of community. Almost like a puppy begging for attention. We will not be ignored, lol. It becomes infectious very quickly, which hopefully propels us all into the success that we so humbly seek.
