Say Goodbye To Your Comfort Zone
Getting out of your comfort zone is always a good thing if you want to make progress in any area of life.
After getting started at Wealthy Affiliate, I soon began to realise that it wasn't enough to get out of your comfort zone on occasion. To make real progress it's better saying goodbye to comfort zones altogether.
If you don't then the likelihood is that before long, your business will stagnate.
Any business requires thinking outside of the box, but with an online business, change happens so quickly that you can't rely on doing the same thing over the long term and expecting the same results.
Keeping up to date with new angles and new strategies (think Jay's live training) keeps you ahead of the game, and importantly outside of your potentially limiting comfort zone.
I know I have been guilty of simply sticking to what I've been used to, and not learning new things daily. I'm determined to change that, and try to increase my knowledge, if only in a very small way everyday.
Although affiliate marketing could be as close to a 'passive income' as you're likely ever to get, it doesn't mean that learning stops and ideas dry up forever.
To fully enjoy the benefits of a business that you have built from scratch, you need to keep evolving and progressing. Seeing the money coming in from the work you have done in the past is a nice feeling, but it's not half as nice as the feeling you get when you've learned something new, and you know it's going to help your business along further.
Are you making sure you are outside your comfort zone? Let me know in the comments, I always love to hear from you all.
