About to lose Top 200 ranking Who Cares? Not I

I laugh at myself a lot.

Especially when I see what I pay attention to. (And sometimes I cry when I notice what I don't pay attention to but should.)

What I laugh at:

My attention to my WA ranking.

Oh. My. Gosh.

It's like watching my stock's performance on the Dow Jones ticker.

Or water boiling... "When will the bubbles appear?!"

I'm in danger of losing my Top 200 spot:

As of this morning:

It's not like I haven't been contributing...

Each metric is up slightly since two days ago, but I've dropped several places.

What this means...

It means that the WA has been active!

More active than I have been.

This is a GOOD THING

I'm a strong believer in "friendly competition."

The WA community has a hint of friendly competition. And I believe this makes us all better.

"A rising tide lifts all boats."

If we weren't each striving to be successful, none of us would be.

Congrats, WA-ers!

You guys make me better.

You guys push me.

Keep it up!

Even though I know my business and site stats are more important, there is something about staying in the top 200 at WA. lol. And I benefit from reading others' posts and commenting so it's a win-win. I just don't spend all day doing it. Good point and you're so right!
Paula

I agree, Paula.
It is a confidence booster and motivator.

I trust that all is well.

Totally agreed. It's an ingredient to our success.

Hi Howard. My rankings have been all over the place over the last year or so, from top 25 down to 6000 and back up again. I'm about to start an ecommerce site which will keep me busy, so there's a good chance I'll go flying back down past you again my friend. Such is life. Jim

Good morning Howard,

I hope you're doing well, thank you for your blog post.

We have to be careful not to watch our Wealthy Affiliate ranking too much, the most important job we should be doing is working on our online business.

It is kind of a bit of fun having the ranking system and as you mention, "friendly competition" is good.

Your blog post reminds me of something I wrote a couple of years ago, you can see the link below. Have a great day.

Roy

Howard,

The number one priority should be getting your online business moving.
If you do have the time then participate more at WA.
It is tough though if offline demands a lot of your time.

Soon though, you will find your rhythm and rise everywhere.

I wish you the very best.
Cassi

No problem Howard, with this post you will drop again, it's like playing a game of Jack's. I personally have been a 200 WA members three times, my problem is I don't post enough. You want to drop, respond to WA members posts, answer questions and I see you are writing posts. That's the recipe my friend that is all it takes.

Joe
