What's the Thoughts on using your Name in your URL?
Was just wondering if I was building a website on self improvement and life improvement would it be more beneficial to use my name in the website url or find a catchy name?
I was thinking that it might be better to use my name if I was going to work on branding myself but since I don't have a lot followers all ready maybe that doesn't make sense?
Any thoughts? Thanks for your input !

I have bought the URL of my own name (last-first name). I have no idea what I'm going to do with that but I do believe the website has a future. In the webmail scenario, I joined Google right after they launched Gmail before Y2K, yet I wasn't able to secure my full name as user name, not to talk about today, unless your name has a very peculiar combination of last name and first names. So if you can own the URL of your own name, just do it. It may also help save you lots of money in the future. Take Nokia as an example, in order to enter into Korean market, it paid millions of dollars to a Korean guy who diligently registered "Nokia" few years before the real Nokia came to Korea. Similar situation happened to Apple when they launched iPAD in China few years ago (because someone had previously registered "iPAD")
