Trying to Work After Putting My Dog To Sleep
Today I had plans of adding more content to my website and feeling good about myself for doing so. It was going to be a great day.
Instead I had to make a decision for my 15 year friend in my profile picture to let her go on off to doggie heaven. They trust us to make that decision for them and so my wife and I reluctantly let her go.
I've been trying to write something ever since but I had no energy. I didn't even go to my day job and don't want to go in the morning. No working today
Our pet's mean more to us than even we think they do when they are alive. I've found out that just in the last 12 hours for as much as I knew I loved my dog, I really loved her much much more.
If you have a pet, love on them a little more that usual. They age so much faster than we do and when they start to go down. it's a rapid decline.
I pray that Cinnamon was very happy with the quality of life and the love that was felt and given to her over her lifetime.
Rest in Heaven Cinnamon, eat all of the treats that you can get and know that Dad and Mom loved you very much.

Sad to hear Horace, they do mean so much to us. I always joke that the only one that is happy to see me when everyone else is upset was my dog Hera. Her tail would be wagging and she would be jumping anytime I came home. It is hard when they go.
Thanks Harvey. Hera sounds like a great dog. They can make you smile when the rest of the world can't that's for sure. I miss that already.

Hi Therese. I didn't feel guilty about not working. I couldn't work. the funny thing is ever since I've been very ok at work. God granted me your blessing of comfort. I've been sad but alright as have my wife. Thank you so very much.
