Rising in My WA Rankings
First I want to be clear, I did not join WA, go through training, get accepted in the Super Affiliate Challenge, read and comment (sometimes) on different members blogs, all the things that we do here at WA, to rank high in my Wealthy Affiliate rankings. I care about it but I'm not as concerned about that (rankings).
I do like the fact that it highlights my community engagement because as we all know, Wealthy Affiliate has one of the best communities on the internet.
My intention is to come here and go through the training so that I can build a successful business that will allow me to not have to work for anyone other than myself, period.
With all that being said, 3 weeks ago, right before I started the SAC, my WA rankings were like 9000 or something like that. I hate that I didn't write down the exact number. It was right around there though.
I started the SAC and did a couple of the tasks and then I went to like 6000 and something. Then at the beginning of last week, I think my ranking was 3993. Then I wrote another WA post and did some other things that I can't remember because I just following the training and by weeks end I was ranked at 292 I think.
I've been kind of busy the last few days (as have everyone) and haven't done a lot here but I did do a few things and now my ranking is 266.
In 3 weeks I have risen in the rankings around 9000 spots. By the end of this week I will probably be in the top 200 and we all know that WA recognizes you with a personal message welcoming you into the top 200.
That is not my intention at all. My website hasn't made a dime yet but it is coming along and I'm learning a lot. My WA rank is just a by-product of following the training and completing some of the tasks that Kyle has in place for the challenge. I still have a lot to do but I am enjoying this journey.
It's fun to see that you are contributing and progressing towards your goal even though again, I haven't made any money yet but I know that if I keep going, it is inevitable. My website is still in its raw state but over the next month or so it will get 100% better and that will all be due to the training and acting on what I am learning.
Just wanted to share what's going on with that. It's kind of cool even if it's not my total intent.
Wishing you all the best!

Hi Horace,
Consider your rank as a by-product of all the things you are doing right at WA. It is recognition that you are providing value to others.
Enjoy rising up in the ranks. It is a good thing. As you so rightly stated, let that not be ones main focus.
Congratulations on doing so many things right to earn your rank Horace!
Cheers.
Edwin
Thank you Edwin. Thanks for reminding me that I am providing value. That is important to me whether it's to my website visitors or to my fellow community members here at WA. Cheers!
Yep, you are right -- your rank is your byproduct of following the training, and interacting in here. However, it is also a very good measure of attitude...as you rise in rank, you rise in your chance to do well in this venue. You learn and grow and the rank reflects that. It is an indicator of "success potential," even though you are still not making money. You are building what you have to build in order to get there. Just keep going.
Thanks Fran. I like that you said it's an indicator of my "success potential." That is very important to keep building on to get to that eventual goal of making money. Thanks for your wisdom. Best wishes to you!
