WA RSS hack.

So, here's a way to get WA email notifications as an RSS feed. There's a service called Kill the newsletter, it converts email newsletters to RSS feeds. https://www.kill-the-newsletter.comIt will give you an email address you use to subscribe to a newsletter with. Change your WA email to that address, and you have notifications coming into the feed. This actually works, I tried it myself.

Nice:)

Good information.

Tried and true

Elaine

thanks nice to know about it.

Hello, Hopeslife. Sorry to show my ignorance, but what's an RSS feed? Thanks. Carol

It's a feed that updates often like a Facebook feed, except for an individual site. Every WordPress site has one, unless you disabled your's by hand.

Thanks. I didn't disable it unless by accident because I didn't even know I had one! Thanks for the info. Carol

Awesome, thank you! This is what I've been needing to do for some time now:)

This will work for pretty much any newsletter you subscribe to and want it in an RSS feed.

thanks for info

The link is just HTML with no style information. Greek to me.

1

If you put that in IE and/or firefox it will work properly.

I had to use the http://feeds.feedburner.com/kill-the-newsletter/nxVl link. Looks nice. I might try it!

1

You can use that link, but you would use the regular one for your feed reader.

1

Also that's my feed, you'll have to make yourself one before you put it into the reader.

I have problems to imagine what this does, do you have a picture to go with it?

That's not telling me much, it's a link to a huge XML file

Lol if you put that in IE and/or firefox it will display as a feed. or, here's a feedburner link: http://feeds.feedburner.com/kill-the-newsletter/nxVl That should make it display correctly.

Yes, that looks better:) Thank you

Sure thing.
