You can't have a site that was built on Wix hosted at WA without changing it over to WordPress. I suggest that you create a free Siterubix subdomain and copy and paste the entire website into the new site and then when you've got it working properly, you can move the site into your own domain name.
I think that Wix sites can only be hosted on Wix servers. WordPress is the most popular content management system and can be hosted just about anywhere.

Is it beter to have a static homepage or a frontpage where new posts go?
Great question. I want to do a static homepage and only heard one person say Google likes blog better, but I like static better. So hopefully someone knowledgeable will chime in .
Thanks for your response. Does Google treat them differently or like one more than the other?
Not to my knowledge....depends on site and type of presentation you are doing...view the training

Thanks for the info! I was hoping it was possible to just move it over but not to be.
