Lay Hold of What You May Already Possess
There was a man who owned a large manufacturing plant who suddenly died. He had one heir, his nephew Billy. Billy was a very poor man and was known for begging and sleeping on the streets or any place he could lay his head.
After the uncle died the lawyers read the will and it read, "I leave everything to my sole heir, Billy." The estate was worth over five Million dollars. The lawyers searched records for Billy's whereabouts but could not locate him. They didn't know where he stayed so they set-up a team to search his whereabouts. After some time the team came back and said we have a lead that Billy lives in the big city, but we suspect he is homeless because there is not a permanent address.
So, the research team set-out for the big city to look for Billy. They searched in the streets, under the bridges, ally ways, homeless shelters and cheap motels where homeless men where known to frequent.
After searching for some time they came up empty. The lawyer finally came to end of his time to search for an heir, but put off filing the paperwork for a few weeks more.
Finally a breakthrough they found Billy. The bad news is Billy was frozen to death in the ally way behind a motel as it was cold that night and he could not afford a room for $5.
What happened?
Billy was a millionaire according to his lawyers, but he never possessed what was his. He never laid hold of what was his. Billy had the potential to be more than he was and have more than he had, but never took hold of his possessions.
Don't be a Billy!
Realize that you possess far more than what you think you have. Don't give up your dream, it's looking for you, you should be looking to possess it!
