Up and Running!!

As I finish up Course 2 here in WA, I figure it's time to write my first blog! My website is up and running - www.getstrongwithjulie.com - I still have a lot of work to do on it, but I'm very pleased with the progress so far. The training here at WA has been incredible! I attempted to create a website before I discovered WA and I definitely struggled! I only got one post out there and it was pretty boring.

My motivation for creating my website is my sister who passed away just under 2 years ago. And I know she would be so proud of me and what I've accomplished. She was always my strongest supporter and motivator. Whenever I shared my goals about anything, she'd always say "well, if Julie says she's gonna do it, then it's gonna happen". She believed in me way more than I ever believed in myself.

I still struggle daily with the emptiness of not having her here. I guess not everyone stays real close to their siblings as they get older and have their own families, but that was not the case with us. I think we grew closer our last 6 years together (when me and the girls moved back to Boone) than we ever were. I will always cherish those last 6 years with her.

I hope to continue to make her proud as I strive to create and build a website that will help others, honor her name and keep her memory alive, and generate an income that I so desperately need in order to provide a better life for me and my precious girls. I love and miss you so much, Leigh!!
