I'm at the end of the Stage 2 training!
I'm pleased to have come to the end of the Stage 2 training and now be ready to begin Stage 3- and hopefully start to see some money coming in with the monetisation of my website. I understand it won't be quick but slowly but surely, with persistence, I hope that I'll get there. I'm pleased with the progress I've made so far and it's great to think it will only get better through building everything up.
So far, I've created 8 posts on my site and they all have lovely images now. My site is called www.theyearsofenchantment.com and it's all about sharing great ideas about learning, reading and having fun during childhood. It all flashes by so quickly and it's so important to make the most of the time that's available during those 'enchanting years' so that children can become the very best versions of themselves. It would be awesome if anyone would be kind enough to check it out and leave a comment somewhere... that would make my day and I'd love to return the favour!
It's been hard juggling my full-time job as a teacher with a pretty long commute along with being a mum to my darling little girl and developing my website. I'm squeezing in all the spare time I have. In addition, I have a cough that is refusing to go away, I've had it for a few weeks now. Hopefully my upcoming holiday will help me shake it off!
I've researched quite a lot of keywords from Jaxxy that I'm excited to write posts about. Just last night I researched how much it would cost to get a writer to do some for me and I found out that I could get that done for $10-35 on Fivvrr (not sure if that's the correct spelling). This is way cheaper than I thought so I might follow that up soon so I can pump out more content. I don't know what the quality will be like at that price but it's going to be worth checking out for me.
When I look at the QSI for keywords and the searches in Jaxxy I'm sometimes surprised at how low the searches are for some keywords- e.g. is it really only 30, or >10, people searching for some keywords all over the world. Does anyone know if these figures for the searches are per day/ per week/ per month/ per year or what? That would be useful to know.
Another thing that Ive been wondering about is that only a couple of my posts have been indexed so far in Google. A post I wrote relatively recently was indexed before some of my older ones. They all have low QSI, as suggested in the WA training, so does anyone have any idea why it's taking so long? It's been over a month now. I've also followed all the other rules, such as not using the key word too much other than in the title and the first paragraph etc.
I'm loving the support from the WA community. It's so much easier developing a website with WA than doing it alone. I love the help as I'm not the best at tech- thank you everyone!
