My Passion...

is helping others overcome adversity, realize their potential, be a part of change, and make the world a better place. Sounds altruistic, and that's okay. That's why I really connected with the WA community. It seems that the people who are here care about others, about their learning, about their success, and they are willing to help out. I love that!

My Progress...

When I first started I couldn't stop learning and wanted to go, go, go. And then life tapped me on the shoulder and reminded me that I had a family to care for, needs to tend to, and a business that I was starting...oh yeah, almost forgot! I was so excited about finding WA because it was the piece that made all my passions come together.

As I was searching and researching to choose my domain name there were several obvious steps that slowed me down...I wanted my site to represent my consulting/coaching/advocacy business, I wanted my site to be paid for through my UBI, I needed to open a business credit card. Slow down reason 1.

Then I got a call from my first prospective consultation client...hooray! I needed to get business cards, I needed a business email, I needed a business phone. Slow down reason 2.

My Philosophy...

So here I am, the family has been fed a healthy and satisfying meal, I have applied for my credit card and am waiting, I have my business email and my business phone, I've put together my proposal for the school that is seeking my supports, and I've chosen a domain name. My rank went up, probably because I haven't been active in WA these past few days, but that's okay. I've responded when I could and I've appreciated the support. I believe that all things happen for a reason. WA came to me when I was struggling to make it all fit and it is here for me when I can give it good attention. You all are here to support me and as I learn I will return the favor to others. For today, I offer my encouragement...never give up, be kind to yourself and to others, have courage!
