Happy New Year to my WA friends! May 2016 bring you health, happiness, and fulfillment! I am setting personal goals around finding balance in my life as I continue to advocate for my son's healing, build my own online businesses, and help others get the diagnosis and treatment they deserve to live healthy and happy lives! And with that...

I want to share about the Lotus Health Project and the Children's and Teen Health Summit they are preparing to launch because it provided me much of the information I needed to take my son's health in my own hands. For those of you who have followed my previous blogs, you know that my now 12 year old son contracted PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) when he was 10. It is a debilitating and frightening illness that presents with a myriad of psychiatric symptoms. We were terrified, but through research and support we found a doctor who would listen to us and do the proper labs to get the diagnosis we needed for proper treatment. Healing is possible, though it is long and slow.

The Lotus Health Project helped me gain knowledge and confidence through their bi-annual Children's and Teen Health Summit and their 10-week class.
