Merry Christmas everybody!
Today is a normal working day for most people here in Japan. I've just been to the bank, the post office, and the baker's. Builders are constructing a house in the next street so there is a racket of drilling and crashing and banging.
I'm home alone as I'm the only one whose holidays have already begun in this household. So I have a bit of time to look at all the new developments here at Wealthy Affiliate and think about the coming year working with Wealthy Affiilate as a blogger and affiliate marketer.
2023
In 2023 I covered my Wealthy Affiliate subscription through affiliate commissions and by placing Adsense ads on some of my blogs. My Adsense revenue was the best ever in 2023. I used to get just one or two payments from Google in a year, whereas this year they have deposited funds in my Japanese bank account four times in all.
2024

During 2024 I want to work on (1) using the new Hubs and AI technologies to create more blog content across all my blogs, (2) boosting my Adsense income, and (3) doing more to promote Wealthy Affiliate and boost my affiliate income.
I think the new Hubs and AI features will help us to convey the value of Wealthy Affiliate to anybody who wants to build an online business and will make it easier for us to convert our prospects into customers. Now we can show our prospects how easy it is not only to create a Wordpress blog, but also to create a stream of relevant, high-quality content using the new resources that are available to us on Wealthy Affiliate.
Reducing Offline Work To Focus On My Online Business
This year I declined the offer of a part-time teaching contract for 2024 at a college where I have worked for about 20 years.
Actually, the college is suffering from a dwindling number of students and fewer classes are on offer for the coming year, so I felt it would be a good moment to step away and focus on what I really want to do - build my online business!
So the coming year will be a big and exciting challenge for me. Can I replace that lost income and make more money by devoting more time to my online business in 2024?
I believe I can, especially if I use all the new artificial intelligence resources that Wealthy Affiliate has made available, not to mention the high quality hosting service for all my Wordpress blogs.
Wealthy Affiliate has the tools for success, now let's put them to work in 2024 and beyond.
