Progress after completing Course 2
Fist of all my heart full thanks to all the members of WA community for their support and encouragement.
I've joined this awesome community just few days back in order to get some knowledge about online entrepreneurship and earn a good living without working under some Bosses.
I've been searching terms like affiliate marketing, Google adsence, how to build a website and do things in the right manner etc. for the last two years. After going through lots of scams finally got WA and decided to join and start my online journey.
As I'm from India I couldn't avail free membership so I took premium membership of WA and set sail for online journey.
Within first 10 days journey, I've bought domain and build my website. So my heart full thanks to the Author Kyle for creating this wonderful course 1.
For selection of Niche, I didn't spend too much time as I wanted to start one blog on various teas and leisure travel to tea garden (tea travel). I was born and bought in Assam, the largest tea producing region of the world (one state of India). So I have a great interest on that Tea niche. Without fair knowledge about any niche I'll not able to generate great post. After considering these things I've chosen this niche.
After building my site https://teaocity.com I've also published some in-depth posts around 14000 words. I can say this is my first success within 15 days journey.
I've some plans for the long term as I know that it's very hard to get success within a very short period.
Here I'm going to share my plans. If you see any error then kindly help me to correct it.
- Publish 7 more in-depth posts containing 2000 words in each posts within 30 days.
- Get 3 comments for each post through WA site comments within 30 days.
- Join niche related forum - at least 3 within 30 days.
- Get involve in question-answer sites like quora, Yahoo etc.
I think these steps will help me get some traffic.
After getting at least 300 visitors each month, I'll become affiliate for Amazon and other tea specialty sites and travel sites.
I don't know when I'll able to generate income. But I'm taking another 12 months as no income period. I think, income will be generated after that period.
Long term plans
Next, What type of topics I'll choose for my site?
Niche - Tea and Travel
- Organic Loose leaf teas - white tea, green tea, black tea, oolong tea, again country wise teas- Chinese, Japaneses, Indian, Ceylon, Turkish tea. I'll cover every possible things related to this - like what is? Why to consume? How to prepare? How many Cups? Then what are the benefits. I'll also work on Best of each category.
- Then tea recipes like tea wine cocktails, cheese tea etc.
- Then tea travel - India, ceylon (Sri Lanka), China, Japan, Myanmar and other countries which will offer tea tourism.
- Great Tea Accessories including books on tea
- Herbal Teas, detox teas, tea extracts or tablets
- Tea related beauty care products
I'll first focus these things and choose affiliate model as income generation method.
After getting some maturity, say 2 years, I'll focus to sell some tea products produced in my State along with affiliate method.
That's all about my success and business plan.
At last I kindly request all my community members to point out if there is any error in my plan. Also view my site and provides some suggestion.

Hey Himbru! Welcome to the WA fam...
I would suggest you include some short-form posts on your site 800-1000 words.
Your audience will likely appreciate the longer posts but consume them far less.
I think it's great that you have planned for success (a lot of people don't) and that you're taking the long view on your earning potential for your websites.
Online income is founded-upon trust and if Google doesn't know you, nobody else will either. Keep posting and let Google know you're not a spammer and not a robot!
